Stiffness is for everyone, and it’s inevitable. Frankly speaking, for many people stiff body is not really a pleasurable experience – and for some, it might not even be a big deal.
Your body can do magic. No matter how stiff your body is, yet, you can learn and perform the split. Even the most inflexible person can become flexible if they are willing to put the work into it.
Even though it might take longer time for the body to adjust, it is imperative to comprehend the fact that with the right technique split is achievable.
We are all built different, therefore, our flexibility level is different from one to another. There are factors in place such as: age, fitness level, time you dedicate, a right approach and technique.
I always incorporate stretching elements into my group and private classes. And, there’s always significant improvement in my regular client’s performance.
Here’s let me start with some facts:
When you stretch, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain. Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body, a “high” if you will.
As a “moving” type even if I am tired I want to move. So I do stretch and feel happier, awake and refreshed.
Exercise such as Split is to improve the flexibility of hamstrings, thighs and hip flexor – also – promote better blood circulation to the areas affected by the sedentary lifestyle.
