I love being able to teach Pilates. Teaching Pilates is not just making people fit. Pilates allows you to connect to yourself, feel and understand your body.

- But sometimes you are realized that using same material over and over again?
- With bunches of certifications you feel out of information to spice up your class.
- Feel uninspired to teach
For sure we all been there in any field of industry we are.
Probably you need a break and major doses of inspiration.
My way to get out of routine and get inspired;
- Join continue education Pilates courses, preferably overseas

- You have a chance to travel. Book ticket, go to airplane.
- Already exciting! You will consider it a business trip.
- You definitely will meet other Pilates instructor with different experience.
- You will learn new things that you can bring to your clients ; discuss and share ideas with others instructor.
- You can do private or group class with your mentor / educator
- You will realise that you know a lot , but still lots to learn and Pilates journey never ends!
Attending training we are usually have casual time together: lunch , dinner, talking about things not related to Pilates. It makes us feel ordinary but same time we are sharing same passion – Pilates.
- Find time and attend classes from different Pilates instructors

- Off for holiday? Search for Pilates studios location at your destination!
- Private or group classes, allow instructor to lead you, accept his/ her approach
- Be “ in clients shoes” for a while , we not often have a luxury to join 60 minutes class
- You know movements? Focus on breath work – appreciate mindfulness part of Pilates
I like to step out of my normal routine , I love to dance and join Pole dancing classes!
- Mentoring session , find a mentor
- Do you have a mentor? Find one, from your Pilates school or different school, the one who you can learn from and get inspiration.
- Allow yourself be wrong and do mistakes, we need someone to correct us – the way we learn. The one who gives you “ nice kicks” and motivation.
I have weekly mentoring session with my mentor, I share and ask questions, getting my weekly inspiration!
- Write a class plan

- Even you pass this stage already , writing down class plan on the paper will make you create probably more logical and thoughtful class plan. Certain thing we could overlook when you are teaching “ playing by ear “!
What else do you do to inspire your teaching?
