2 NO PHONE DURING SESSION WITH CLIENTS
The best way is to check your phone during the break between sessions.
3. 100% ON YOUR CLIENTS POSTURAL PROBLEMS and COMPENSATIONS
Client here for you and for 1 hour all your attention goes to him/her. Clients will appreciate your efforts to help them to understand and move THEIR body better.
Mild adjustments, right tactile cues, nice imagery cues – make a session approachable for your clients.
To get philosophy and feelings of PILATES.
Yes, we have to study a bit more!
All bodies are different and make sure your session will benefit your client!
4. AVOID LONG DISCUSSIONS DURING THE CLASS
Yes, it is nice to maintain friendly relationships with your clients. It’s a Pilates session – not a Therapy, so you shouldn’t hear all clients’ problems and be involved with advice.
Remember, the client is signed in for a Pilates session and you set some goal, so make sure you give him/ her satisfaction of the result!
5. PRACTICE ALL PILATES EXERCISES THAT YOU ARE TEACHING
Practice, analyze, explore different strategies and how to perform exercises.
Make sure you are giving the right exercise to this particular client.
Coordination and movement is a difficult thing to understand, please make your verbal cues clear for your clients!
6. SELL ONLINE
Of course, the best way is to do your job next to your clients.
Anyway, you can create a program that you can sell online, teaching some harmless exercises that don’t require supervision.
You have to put in an effort but the extra income would be nice!
